Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Android Phone Announced
Sony Ericsson Tuesday (III) introduced the Android-based XPERIA X10 Android smartphone, equipped with a new U.X interface platform, wireless stereo headphones and a series of full-featured functions. Contrary to rumors that broke the news, XPERIA X10 will run Android Donuts (version 1.6) instead of Éclair (version 2.0).
Features
include Huge long color 262K 4-inch W.V.G.A (480 x 854 pixels) T.F.T touch
screen, 1GHz internal memory Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250,1GB, micro-SD
card slot, and 8GB card. The X10 camera has 8.1 million pixels, includes
16x digital zoom, auto-focus, face recognition, allocation, image/video
stability as well as light, focus and video recording.
Other features
include a 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB, Bluetooth stereo with A2DP, USB,
WiFi, A-G.P.S, media player, auto-rotate and gesture control. We have two
new features with XPERIA X10 user interface (Rachel) called Tim-escape
and Medias-cape.

As Sony describes, Timescape is an application that manages all contacts with a person in one place, allowing you to browse Facebook, Twitter, photos, and emails without having to change the application. Mediascape is a similar application for accessing music, photos, and videos from a single site, from mobile, YouTube Flickr or Play-now. Sony Ericsson has not announced any price details, but XPERIA X10 is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2010.
