Chinese Government Demanded The Immediate Release Of Huawei's Chief Executive

On Saturday, the Chinese government demanded the immediate release of Huawei’s chief executive, and looked at the heir to the technology brand, Meng Wanzhou, if they did not want to face dire consequences. Despite the sanctions, they captured Wanzhou in Vancouver at the request of the United States to sell products made in US territory to Iran.
If something hand the daughter of Huawei’s founder over to the United States, she will face fines for fraud and conspiracy after they bust multiple financial institutions, with a maximum of 30 years for each position. After a court hearing lasting over six hours on Friday, the Canadian judge has not yet decided, and the hearing will continue on Monday.

In a brief statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry points out that Vice Foreign Minister Lu Yuxing issued a warning if the justice decides not to extradite Meng to the Canadian ambassador in Beijing. The Chinese government also encouraged the US ambassador to make a “strong protest” to the Canadian authorities, according to Reuters. I interpret the arrest of Meng during an attempt to make a trip to Vancouver by Yucheng as a serious violation of his legal rights. He added that the detention “ignored the law and was unreasonable” and was inherently “very unpleasant”. “China strongly urges the Canadian to release the detained person and protect his legitimate rights seriously, otherwise China must take full responsibility for the grave consequences,” the Chinese vice foreign minister warned. Markets, on the alert, News of his arrest affected stock markets and condemned by the Chinese authorities although Trump and his top economic advisers played down the importance of trade negotiations after the two leaders agreed to a truce. A spokesman for Huawei said on Friday that the company “trusts that legal systems in Canada and the United States will reach the right result.” The company said it complies with all export laws, applicable export laws and other regulations.
