They expect the new Malaysia Car Proton X70

Petaling Jaya - The launch of the Proton SUV will help increase vehicle sales year by year and sales by 2017. Datuk Isha Ahmed, chairman of the Malaysian Automobile Association, said the car sales should reach 585,000 units by the end of the year. He said the TIV increased by 6 percent from January to October, at 502,244 units compared with 472,719 compared to the same period last year.
Despite a 23% decline in car sales in September after the GST holiday on August 31, October sales rose by 5.1%. “We did not expect this, but it was good in October, and that was good in November, too,” Aisha said yesterday.
The 0-0 period for GST has helped sell 5,1818 since June 1. In July, the MAA announced that 68,465 units in July were the second monthly record in the local's history automotive industry. The TIVE was high by the industry at 69,371 units in December 2015.

Dr. Lee cornrowing, Proton’s CEO, said over 10,000 reservations were received for the X70 SUV. “This is a good start, and we will work hard to realize the promise of our products and brand,” he said. The X70 will begin shortly.

Four versions of the X70 are available at prices between 99,800 and RM128,800. The prototype is the first collaboration between Broughton Holding Bhd and the Chinese auto industry Zhejiang Geely Holding. Malaysians on Facebook have praised the new SUV with Homecoming, which he described as “high technology and rich features.”

“The car is cheap compared to other car brands in its classes,” he said. Ujang Rais at the Auto and Automotive Auto Show said SUV value is worth the money. Kai Stevenson noticed that the car was affordable. “This ratio is cheaper than the Honda C.R.V and Mazda CX5 models,” Kai said.
